The IXP Manager website is hosted by Internet Neutral Exchange Association Company Limited by Guarantee (INEX). It is maintained and managed in partnership with Island Bridge Networks Ltd (who also administrate the IXP Manager sponsorship program). Together, these companies are referred to as 'the Site Operators' in this document. This privacy policy will explain how the Site Operators uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website.

What data do we collect?

As a policy, we try not to collect any personal data where possible. We currently collect only the following data:

• Personal identification information (name, organisation and email address) if optionally provided when registering an IXP as a user of IXP Manager.

You directly provide us with the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

• Register your IXP as a user of IXP Manager through this website or via email.

How will we use your data?

We collect your data so that we can:

• Record your IXP as a user of the IXP Manager platform.
• Record who registered the IXP as a user of the IXP Manager platform and to contact you in relation to this.
• Subscribe you to the IXP Manager mailing lists only if you opted in.

We will never share your data with third parties.

The Site Operators would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

Visitor Analytics

We use our own instance of Matoma to collect website usage statistics and visitor analytics. We use strong privacy settings for this which include: no cookies, respect DoNotTrack, anonymise tracking data and IP addresses, regularly delete old raw data, regularly delete old aggregated report data.

We use usage statistics and visitor analytics to understand how visitors use our site so that we can improve it, where users find the site from, where (country) people visit the site from, 404 / missing pages log, and other typical analysis.
